Who are we?

The Red River Fiddlers is a performing group founded by Julianna Waller in 2006. Our mission is the preservation and performance of old-time fiddling. This American heritage is demonstrated in styles such as old-time, celtic, bluegrass, contest, Western swing and blues.

The Founder

Julianna Waller, a Grammy awarded violinist, National Champion fiddler, mandolinist, and a long-time American String Teacher Association (ASTA) member with a Bachelor of Music Degree from Arizona State University. As a testament to her versatility, she has performed on the stages of both Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry within the same year. Ms. Waller enjoys a career as a recording artist, performer, composer, studio musician, instructor, and Mel Bay Publications author.
