Our Mission

Showcasing styles such as old-time, Celtic, bluegrass, contest, Western swing, and blues, the group keeps this American heritage alive through performance and education. Since its founding, more than 40 students have participated in this wonderful program, bringing the joy of fiddling to countless communities.

The Red River Fiddlers were founded in 2006 by violinist and champion fiddler Julianna Waller-Martinez with a mission to preserve and celebrate the rich tradition of old-time fiddling.
